Opening Ceremony ‘s fall 2012 collection picks up where spring left off. There are no cats and things are a little less flirty and sweetly feminine, but still lots of fun, if a bit more sleek and sophisticated than past collections.

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim drew inspiration from Patagonia, Argentinian fauna and the “outdoor pursuits of gauchos in the grasslands,” which resulted in fresh, bold colors, some utilitarian shapes and interesting original prints. Details like metallic sheen on knits and and colorful embroidery made each piece special. And the wearable, easy to mix-and-match silhouettes make us want to buy everything.
